Z2-370 series is designed to realize the compact and high performance cam by setting the guide structure and gas springs within the working width. It also has an acceleration system, which greatly contributes to the press die rationalization and the noise reduction of stamping plant.
In addition to our existing regular type (RF), the following new model (TF) is now available.
*The location of mounting screws/dowels remains the same among “Z2-370-RF/TF.” Therefore, depending on the circumstance, a cam can be interchanged to the one in a different force, even after the completion of stamping die.
1. Improvement in Handling Procedure and Effectiveness
The Z2-370 series adopts the Guide Pin (Shaft) Structure, which maintains stability in the cam slides area and is easily attached and removed (world patented). It is therefore easy to disassemble the Slide Cam out of the cam base or the die in which the cam is placed. This structure greatly shortens the time to disassemble and reassemble.
2. Improvement in Safety
The Guide Pin (Shaft) Structure in the Z2-370 series makes the cam much more robust and stable compare to the conventional structure with plates and bolts, and helps to maintain greater safety, especially for aerial cam. It of course greatly contributes to the accurate slide movement.
3. Durability and Stability
The Z2-370 series adopts the built-in gas springs, not coil springs, as its stronger pressure source. It also has oil-less plates on each upper / lower slide surface - so called "double wear plate" structure (or equivalent structure). Moreover, it has the "V" shape at the lower side surface to bear against thrust or uneven pressure. It is designed to have low center of gravity. These features provide much more durability and stability.
4. Variety in Size
The Z2-370 series has various types that cover from 500 mm working width to 1600 mm. The Z2-370 series cams have various angles in 5-degree increments, up to 75 for Aerial and 25 for Die Mount. This variety covers almost all operational ranges, which are required for practical usage.

Return Force Enhancement
Keeping the same size as "Z2-370-RF," the "Z2-370-TF" series enables the gas spring pressure for cam return to be approximately 2 times greater compared to the standard product "Z2-370-RF."
"Z2-370-TF" is now available for cam trim, pierce or flanging operations where cams require more return force.
